Remember swinging on a swing as a child?

I would feel a dizziness in the pit of my stomach, sort of like on a rollercoaster, but I always remember enjoying the feeling.

I'm curious to find out why you ask though!

I used to lean over backwards and watch the ground move away from me.
The best was when someone showed me how to back flip the swing and land on my feet.

Well, as some of you already know, I have a spine deformity and had some seizure trouble as a child due to a birth injury.
I remember swinging as a child and when I got high enough it caused a lightheadedness that was painful to me - kinda like brain freeze, I guess would be the best way to describe it.
I wondered if the sensation was common.

It was painful to me and I don't have any spine issues.

I also can't handle fair rides or roller coasters. The wee little roller coaster at Disneyland, the runaway train one, made me sick for three hours. Now, swinging on a swing, even lightly, makes me want to hurl. So I won't be going out and testing to see if i still get the same sensation I did when I was 7.
