Yikes! It was 5 centimeters long/big! They removed most of it and left a piece that measures about 1.5 centimeters![]()
Or you can cheat and accidentally run out of money.I hope you enjoy Monopoly as much as your son - our (grown up) kids still choose it as a family game to play on Christmas day late afternoon/early evening. If it goes on too long for you (and it can!), you can always set a time limit, and the winner is whoever's got most at that point.![]()
Thanks everyone
Yesterday I went to Dublin to see the doctors re my radiotherapy, which I am very nervous about! The possible side effects are pretty scary, being on my brainI'm not allowed to drive, swim, climb ladders and and and.... Goodness! Hope it won't last too long!
Good news is I got discharged from hospital today and am home with my beautiful little man againIt feels so good! I hope I'll be able to stay out of hospital now, until I have to go back to hospital in Dublin for the few days for the above mentioned treatments. I should be good though, I'm off the chemo for the time being, until this is over and dealt with, so...
This had been one crazy journey so far, with this cancer! I finally got some details yesterday re the tumour (I didn't ask before and nobody volunteered any details). It was 5 centimeters long/big! They removed most of it and left a piece that measures about 1.5 centimetersWhich they are going to attack with the radiotherapy soon. Gosh, I hope that will get rid of the dang thing for good now! In the meantime, little man wants to teach me to play Monopoly, so I'm going to spend some time with him this evening
Hope you all are having a good start to the new year!![]()
No worriesYikes!
Where was it....is this your first go round with the cancer?
Just ignore my Q's if too inquisitive.
Have fun with your boy!!...and best of luck with the radiation.
No worriesThis tumour was in the front part of my brain, just behind my forehead. Not the first one, I had two much smaller tumours removed from my skin already, but this one is by far the most serious. It was stage 4.
Just for the record, DS got his butt kicked!![]()
