Announcement Remembering Sumi

I'm just catching up on the news about Sumi.
She embodied the spirit of BYC and seemed to be a needle and thread that sewed the seams of friendship here between so many members. I enjoyed her kind banter and her consumant attention to detail.
May Sumi now find her complete healing and may her son grow under her watchful eye from Heaven. Prayers for her family as they nurture this sweet young man and thoughts of condolence for her friends here at BYC.

She was responsible for many projects over the years, many of them we still use. You will see these along with many articles she wrote, all of it extremely helpful to our members!

I am just catching up on the news. So so so sad. At least it was peaceful but does not make it any less heartbreaking for those who were close. My heart and prayers go out to her son. My (comparatively) short time on BYC she seemed like such a creative , caring and supportive person.
RIP Sumi. BYC (along with many others) will always remember you fondly

She started the thread before she died, probably years ago. Someone just recently posted and made the entire thread show up but as Sumi started the thread she "owns" it so it shows her icon for the thread not whoever posted last.

...look at the dates when you see one of her posts, threads, articles.
