I hate to say this but no. They leave each other alone. I put my finger in to see if maybe they are getting shocked and nope. Water has a bubbler. Gravel is new from the store and washed with warm water. I washed out the tank multiple times. I just always have bad luck with these things. After this and my refund I am going to go and just buy that chinchilla after christmas cause I have better luck with furry animals

That always seems to be my luck with fish, too. I used to have a fish who would come to the top of the tank to give me kisses....she was precious. I decided to get her a buddy and within a week they were both dead.

Hey, NEVER buy fish again. And chinchillas are soooooooooooooo cute!!!!

I saw one at the pet shop and he followed me every time I walked passed. I want him so bad. he had a buddy and they are $100.00 each. If I can get up to $200 I will be happy

i used to have a 5lb 8oz red bellied black piranha

i never had very good luck with small fish,,, their to tender lol

That was just my experience I've seen some that were friendly.

Maybe he was eying me up to kill me

. I had a red belly piranha who got up to 5 inches before he died. I saw them and almost got one but did not do it.

The ONLY fish I ever had luck with......I had a big tank with a large mouth bass, a small mouth bass, and an albino catfish. All caught from the lake on hoooks (my poor babies).....all spoiled rotten. I spent a LOT of time at the bait shop buying minnows and crawfish. I lost them in a divorce.

that sux. I used to be good at this but after 2 years they wont live for anything. the male sword tail died. looks like the gourami is going to go to.

I have a 3 story ferret cage my serama is in. I feel so sad cause when I cracked open the eggs they were fertile (the rooster died last month). Where are you located crowin?
