REMOVABLE POOP BOARD

Does anyone have a removable poop board for under your roost? How is it working out? I will have a 4x6 coop and am trying to figure out how to rig one. Thanks!

Making it removable is a no brainer. Just don't fasten it . Many peeps rather than having it removable, use a throw away liner, like used feed bags cut to size. Others use a scoop-able medium like sand, or shavings, or Sweet PDZ. They fashion the board so there is a stop on the edges to prevent medium from spilling over.

I have a poop board(a very loose definition of a poop board) under my roosts, I'd say it works pretty well. I just found an old window screen when looking for wood while in the process of building my coop and decided to pick it up on a whim. It's light and easy to move, and I just hose it off whenever I clean the coop. Best poop board in my opinion!

I just put some OSB slick side up under the roosts and use a 12" drywall knife to scoop up the poop. Best poop board IMHO for me!

Here are a couple pictures of ours. They are a bit heavy. One is down to scoop the poops. I use SweetPDZ and a cat poop scooper. Works great. In the spring I will add some floor tiles. to maybe make scraping easier.
