removal of eyeball?

My roo was born with a disfugurement on his face on the left side. And the eyeball is quite enlarged, looks like it may have gotten bigger. Is there any way to remove the eyeball? Has anyone done it?

Wow, that's not something I'd want to do myself, or without anesthesia. Eneucleating an eye might be something best left for a vet. Wish I had better advice.
