Remove empty egg shell?

My broody just hatched 1/3 eggs and the chick keeps falling over the shell. Should I remove it or just let it be?

P.S. First hatch ever. and just this morning I was dreaming that the chicks hatched, and as the last chick was hatching in my dream, my sister screamed at me to "wake up the chicks are hatching!". It was amazing.

I do when I am hatching in the incubator. Seems to help prevent sprattled legs. I NEVER touch the hen when she is broody. I let nature do what it was intended to do. Of course, it is difficult but in the end, she will be a better mama and the chicks healthier if left to their own devices.
