my chickens don't like the dust either.When you get layer feed there is more size options. I use pellets and find there is much less waste. You could mix the powdery stuff with water to make a mash and see if they will eat it that way.

Also, if you put this in the "Feeding and Watering your flock" it will get more, better, answers.
