Hello. This is my first time hatching eggs. I have an egg that has pipped externally and died. I think the membrane dried up. Should I quickly remove the egg from the incubator or leave it? I have a hatched chick that keeps bumping into that egg. Also, is it okay if the chick rolls the other eggs that have pipped externally?

I would suggest just moving the egg out of the way.
opening up the incubator for those few seconds will not effect the other ones.
I have always heard different opinions on what to do if the chick is bumping the other eggs but personally I leave them in there and have never had an issue. Good luck!!

Are you sure it died? I only ask because they will often take long breaks after pipping before trying to unzip.
Otherwise, yes you can quickly removed it or leave it a bit longer if they're actively hatching. If you see other external pips I would wait to open the incubator until they are finished.
