I assume I know the answer... but...

I have 6 hens that have all been laying for the past 1.5-2 months (one started about Thanksgiving, and the others have been joining ranks since then). I had put golf balls in the nest boxes to start them out. Is it safe to remove the golf balls by now?

I know for a fact that all are laying, and all except one are using the nest boxes (the EE bantam insists on laying on the corner of the poop board... ugh lol)

Take the balls out and let them have at it?

Yeah, I think you can remove them now.

If you have snakes then leave the golf balls, a snake will eat the golf ball and cannot pass it and dies.
