I am new to quail eggs and have learned a lot from the members here. How does everyone remove the shell after boiling them. I have heard there are different tricks so let's hear them. Thanks in advance! Jeff

Tap the small end, tap the large end, lie the egg on its side and roll it to break up the shell, then start peeling from the large end where the air cell (usually) is. This loosens the membrane and makes it much easier to peel off. Enjoy!

I do exactly what JaeG said but I the blunt end of nail clippers and slide it straight up through the shell which basically splits the shell in half like it was unzipped.

Works pretty well. takes me about 20-30 seconds per egg(including cracking the shell). that sounds fast but still takes almost an hour to peel 100 :(
