Removing spurs on older hen

I've never seen or had a hen with that long of spurs, your sure its a hen?
many of my hens have big ol' spurs. not that long, of course, but it could easily happen.
roosters have never laid an egg in the whole of history. I highly doubt it will happen now. her "hen" has obviously laid many eggs before. therefore, she is a hen.

I have roosters

3? That's unusual.
It's only something I'm seeing in my faverolle roos. This guy started growing his extra last year. The other one has had his extra for a three years now.

I use a dremel to remove overgrown spurs as it is quick and kind of cauterizes the cut nicely, so no bleeding or infection afterwards.
Prior to cutting, wrap her like a burrito covering the head and tape her toes together to prevent injuries in case the bird twitches.
And have a second person holding her while you dremel.
