removing the heat light?

My mom and chicks are doing great I had a light on them and have been making it higher and less direct on them so they are getting used to the cold today is the day the light goes way anything special I need to do? They are in a brooder on my back porch it is enclosed so no drafts

If the chicks are with a mother then there was never any need for a light.

I got them from someone who had a light on them I didnt want to shock them
