Removing thread from baby chicks mouth

One of our baby chicks was able to get some threading and swallow it, and we don’t know how to remove it. Anyone with some immediate answers please reply.

Can you see the thread in the mouth?

Yes. My husband said it was wrapped around her tongue.
I did find some posts and someone suggested cutting the thread and give some olive oil.
We did that. She is back in the pen a appears to me eating. I’m waiting to see if she can drink.

We are concerned about the thread around her tongue. We hope it will loosen as in previous conversations.

Can you gently hold her so she can’t move and open her beak to have a look? How old is this chick?

You cut the string off the tongue or the string is still wrapped around the tongue?

It was still wrapped around the house tongue. We got as close as we could at the time.

She is eating and drinking or at least trying to. We will keep observing her

Do you have a small pair of scissors or nail clipper so you can cut the string loose?
It needs to be removed if it's wrapped around the tongue.
