Renting out Chicken Plucker?

I'm considering investing in a chicken plucker and thought I might rent it out locally to recoop some funds. Does anyone here do this? Thoughts? How do you limit exposure of getting stolen, etc?

I would never rent out my plucker. I would definitely not trust anyone with it. Not to mention, potential for bringing diseases onto your property and people not bringing it back clean. Maybe get a plucker purely to rent out and store across the property so no biohazard exists, I think it could be a lucrative business, but no way in hell is someone walking away from here with my most useful and most expensive butchering tool (that I only have one of) without giving me a down payment for the entire worth of the machine first. I have thought about renting mine out before, but that is where I've landed on that issue. People are generally negligent with other people's things.

I don’t know, but there are plenty of designs that attached to cordless drills that seem much more affordable. Maybe check reviews on those?
