Hello! I feel I clogg this forum with questions so I do apologise. Had a Hen about 4 days ago with a prolapse after laying. Shes a 2 year old ex battery hen but never had problems before. Unfortunately her prolapse was pecked by the other girls before we got there so took her straight to the vets and shes still on her course of antibiotics and anti Inflammatorys. I havent seen a prolapse since the first one but today was the first day she layed an egg since the prolapse and its caused her to prolapse again. Im waiting for the veterinary center to call me back as to what we can do for her. The prolapse went back in with hardly any assistance but cant put her back with her sisters yet because of the risk. Does anyone know what we can do for her to stop this again? I am waiting to hear back about the implant to stop laying but does this garuntee the prolapse to stop? Poor girl is getting fed up with sleeping in the house over night. Shes seems well and happy and isnt showing any signs of stress so I am not too worried about her. Thanks for any help
