Repeating Rat Trap?

Has anyone ever used this trap before and did it work well? Can you really catch 5-10 rats at a time? I placed an order for one from Strombergs http://www.strombergschickens.com/product/repeating-rat-trap/pest-control-and-traps

I have used the poison pellets in the boxes but rats aren't eating it and I would like to catch them live and shot them with a pellet gun for all the doves/chicks they killed in the past.

Try a bucket trap, maybe sized up for rats if they're too big for a 5 gal.
