Phew! I traded him; town bylaws don’t allow roosters, plus I don’t have nearly enough hens to sustain a rooster.

That last one looks like a pullet. I'm a sucker for redheads, too, so she's gorgeous. Did you keep the rooster or trade him in on the pullet?

And yes, I think she’s quite a sweetie!

I certainly hope so! If she's the same age as the others (about 13-14 weeks now?), looks like a pullet to me. (It's hard because her coloring is so red - but it does seem to be pretty uniform and the comb looks good - is it a single comb?)

Glad you like her and let us know when they both lay/crow.

She’s about 11 weeks, like the two in my original post. The cockerel I returned before them would be about 14 weeks now. Single comb, I think? Like, it appears to be just one row of bumps coming in.
