Reply box suddenly changed.

After using BYC for many many months, yesterday a change came up when I tried to post. This notice was displayed along with a new (and less desirable) format in the reply box:

"The rich text editor is not compatible with your browser. You may see some HTML source displayed. Any BBCode you enter will be converted to HTML when you save."

I have not changed or done anything new to my computer settings or service since starting on BYC, other than the occasional update. Using same Firefox as a browser.

Any ideas on how to make the rich text editor work again? (Please respond in simple terms as I'm not very tech savvy.)

Yeah, mine has been like that for a few days. Pretty frustrating. My browser (Firefox) just updated right before that, too.

Thanks for reporting, we're working on this issue! It's because FireFox automatically updated and our rich text editor has not recognized the new version yet.

We hope to get it fixed soon!

I don't know for sure, but if you were looking an article, it may be that you need to have a few forum posts under your belt before leaving comments. I have heard of this requirement for posting pictures also. Try getting your post count up to 10 or so and see if that helps.
