So I have now had my three hens since late summer/early fall. Being new to chickens I am wondering how to tell by looking if my girls are doing o.k. They seem to be doing fine, they have stopped laying but I assume that is due to molting and the cold weather. Since they cant talk to tell me how they are doing and I am by no way a chicken expert what can I look for (as far as their health and well being) I keep them in an coop that is 5 x 10 with a dirt floor and has a 4 x 5 enclosed box for them to get in at night. I feed them a mixture of laying pellets, corn scratch feed, vegtables, sunflower seeds, treats, ets, and give them fresh water every day or other day. How can I grade myself by looking at them to see if I need to make any changes. Thanks
