Thats not your designated roosting bar.

Trying to teach them that being picked up and handled isn't so scary. Apparently someone never got that memo in the first place.

Their first night in the coop, the chicks crammed onto the roost bar supports instead of the roost bars. The newer chicks like to perch on the board I use to keep bedding in the coop. And while we were introducing the two sets, the older ones hung out a lot on top of the dog crate we had in there temporarily.

This girl is so curious! I fell asleep for a few minutes on a cot outside while reading with the chooks free ranging and I find this one snuggled under my arm! I took my arm off to take the picture and the stare says it all ... put your arm back!

Second picture I'm trying to shoo them on to anywhere but the concrete near the door but one jumps on my arm and the others storm the place! Next thing I know it I see her stuck in the support beam, and while she does look stoic she definitely was stuck :p
