Aww sorry you are missing them. :hugsNeither of mine brumated this year, although my leo slowed waaay down. Still I remember how much I missed my beardie Tad last year when she did brumate.

Here she is today trying to “burn off” the giant horn worm she just ate. Just don’t laugh at her shed head ;)

Thanks! I also dig up a photo from this summer that I think is cute. She wanted to bask in the sunshine coming in through the back door, and ended up climbing onto one of DHs shoes to get just the right angle :lol:

I like snakes and lizards. I was looking into crested geckos and ball pythons. Are those easy to take care of? I don't want anything crazy hard to take care of.
I know nothing about snakes so I will leave that to others to answer. But from what I have read, cresties make great beginner reptiles. Perhaps a touch more difficult than leopard geckos but still pretty easy as long as you have a good setup and do your research (and that last part is true of any reptile)

This guy has nice straightforward videos assessing the pros and cons of different reptile pets. I found them helpful when I was choosing a new pet.
