I will only have 3 goslings and think a big poultry light will be overkill...
does anyone know if a reptile warming lightbulb i saw at walmart will be enough? i plan to use it in a clamp on bedside lamp aimed straight into a box. thanks!

Best is to test before you get your goslings. Have a thermometer down in the box to check the temp. Your goslings will grow at a remarkable pace and outgrow a box fast, but you'll need to keep them warm until they are feathered so prepare ahead.

Also DO NOT TRUST clamp lamps. There have been more than a few folks posting here about the clamps failing and fires being started.

Wire you lamp to something solid.
