I just ordered the Reptipro 6000 for $99. I couldn't resist. There are a few threads about it but no new posts. Anyone having success with theirs?

Where did you find it for that price?

I have not fired mine up this year yet but I good hatches out of it last year.

I have one turner in it.

Decent baton hope you have good luck with it.

Mine came today. The shelves do not come all the way to the door. How do you keep the chicks from falling after they hatch?

We typically just move the eggs to the bottom shelf for hatching and use a small cup of water for our humidity. That way I can move it around on the shelves to get the humidity just right. If you want to hatch on the shelves due to capacity, I recommend using that textured shelf liner on the shelves themselves to keep chicks from getting hung up, and to maintain air flow. To keep the chicks from falling off the shelves at the front of the unit, you can even tape a piece of carboard or other material to the front of the shelf just to create a barrier. I hope this helps!

I'm wondering how well this will work for quail eggs as you can only have about a 1 degree variable in temperatures? Also how does one keep quail "safe" in this incubator and how many jumbo quail eggs should this hold?
