I was checking out PetFinder and looking at the chickens when I saw this posted as a hen. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/16046536 Now please correct me if I'm wrong, but does anyone else see a roo?

Oh yeah! That is most definitely a roo and they are trying to pull the wool over some innocent person's eyes.

I feel bad for the person who pick's that rooster up thinking they are getting a hen. They can't say they've never heard that one crow. He's definitely old enough to.

Yeah, I emailed them since I would hate to see someone adopt that chicken thinking it's a hen. I am assuming they just don't know enough about chickens to realize it's a roo (I hope!).

Wait a sec here! WHAT? That's a ROOSTER. If you look at the caption on the first pic, it says "Bloggers rooster "Randy"'!

Looks like all 3 chicken pictured are roos.

I didn't even see that caption! Very odd. Maybe they just pulled those pics from somewhere else and don't have a picture of the bird in question...

Yeah, probably poaching pics off BYC.

I sent an email too, just saying those are roosters in the pics.

Apparently that is the correct picture. I got this response to the email I sent:

My vet told me it was a hen, but i don't believe it. However he/she does not crow and does not have spurs.
I do not know what to think. He/she is molting now anyway so there would not be eggs.
I agree about the sickle and hackle feathers. And my vet has hens!!!

Apparently the vet knows very little about chickens despite owning some. I still don't get why it's captioned a rooster if they think it's a hen...
