I did have one bird molt like that. Literally nearly naked overnight...however, the feathers grew back quickly too. Good feed, water, and space and I think you will have some good layers come January.

I see you got some eggs (always fun) however, those eggs were in the pipe so to speak. With new surroundings, it might be another 10-14 days before you get more eggs. I have almost always gotten a few eggs, then a significant break, then normal laying.
