Rescue hen: what cross is Sophie?

She came to us as a rescue (with clipped wings, found wandering the streets by animal control). She has a cute little topknot and feathery feet like a sultan, with smooth black feathers. But she has this little fluffy comb, almost a rose comb, at the front of her head. I'm betting on a cross of a couple things, but what? But she sure is cute!

Looks like a silkie crossed with some type of game. How many toes does she have?

The weird one is that she has four toes. I've seen three, I've seen five, but four?

Umm... It's not wierd to have 4 toes. It's normal. A chicken with three toes!!!!!!!!! That is NOT normal!

I think she's forgetting the back toe that faces the opposite direction to the larger three on the front.

Yep, I' ve been forgetting to count the back toe! But it's almost like a half toe...
