Rescued 2 abandoned hens from pit bull need advice on breed plz.

She stays on the back side of my runs away from other birds, and will not roost at night, hides under carport. Does anyone know what she is, if she is mixed, or sick??? any help plz an thnx

Maybe a white rock

She is white, with a buff/cream color in some places, that at first glance make her look dirty. her beak an feet are a pale pinkish/white color. She also laid an egg yesterday and today, just found her own lil spot and stays to herself. Im not familiar with the white rock, but thanks I will look into it.

She's a mixed breed hen. Legs are the wrong color for a Rock, and the wavy comb indicates mixed breeding.

What color egg does she lay?

not white like my white leghorn but a more creamy white color. my MIL says it looks like she has BO in her but the legs an beak are throwing us all off.

The white legs could come from an Orpington background, but the body shape is off for an Orp...

Also she is just a smidge bigger than my 4 1/2 month old white legghorns an way smaller than my grown hens, yet she is laying, but eggs are sorta small. But over all body conditions would make her seem older than she looks, but that can also maybe be from being left alone and not being cared for and running from the neighbors dog. I dunno
