Rescued 2 ducks

I rescued two ducks that are three months old for now I let them roam during the day and at night I put them in my chickens run out. I have a pond and I'd like them to go in it but I've tried and tried by putting them just in the edge and trying to coax them out further but they won't. Any idea? It's annoying that they bathe in their water dish all the time.

We have the same problem too. I got our ducks a small kiddy pool and they don't go in to it. they just get into their little 1 by1 water dish.
But every once and a while I see them get in the pool! I get so excited. I think that you just need to give them a little time. If not then you have some really stubborn ducks!

What do you feed your ducks besides store bought food?

Our ducks are with our chickens so they get whatever they get. Some corn. They love popcorn. But don't give them bread. I heard they cant digest it right. But if you have already gave them some they should be okay. just don't give them a lot at one time.

You might try putting a little finely chopped lettuce or dandelion greens on the water and see if that interests them.

Try putting dried millworms in the water my ducks love them
