Do they always come with mites? I don't even know what a mite or lice looks like. I also have my goats and I am constantly spraying this place for anything that crawls, flies, stings, or bite, so I figured, since this little bird was born on my property, maybe his little birdy family doesn't have any parasites or bugs.

I don't know whether or not they 'always' come with mites --- but I have done wildlife re-hab for a lot of years and at all of our training classes, we were urged to treat for mites -- so we used Sevin dust or mite treatment designed for pet birds ---
