Go to where am I where are you here on BYC look up your state might be a member who has so ducks needing a good home. If this duck is a drake your going to need at least min of 3 females. That’s min so the females don’t get over mated once he comes of age.

How do you know if it’s male or female? I have been online looking and really think this duckling is a female.

I can’t tell at that young age but by 6 weeks on up voice can tell us. Quacking is female raspy voice similar to a frog is a drake

Yes I watched some YouTube videos of the difference in voice. I’m going to attach a better picture.

It’s a beautiful duckling and might even be around 5 weeks since the fuzz still,my 4 weeks old have more fuzz than yours. So sad someone would dump that little one out. I wish I could say drake or duck but I can’t. You’ll just have to be patient just like I am having to be patient waiting on what my 2 Runners sex is.
