A thread for the animals you have rescued.This is my goat I saved,his name is Sicky. His mom goat did not tale him,so we bottled him he is 4 months old now,and so much better.Here is a pic.

We found this kitten at a Wal-Mart parking lot two weeks ago. He was running around panicking, I called to him and he ran up to me. We brought him home and we just love him to pieces. Here he is on his first day at the farm, which he finds to be a wonder filled paradise. He especially loves the chickens! He's smaller than them, even the bantams.....

We are still trying on names...so far I think it's Kiki. Your avatar Sebright is very cute. We have one. She's 4 mo old and very feisty....what characters these birds are! We call her Moonshine.

I have lots of rescued animals! I won't list all my dogs here...haha. But I've got four egg farm hens we rescued and fixed up, and an ex fighting gamefowl too named Balthazar. He's a good boy.

Also a standard size Jenny donkey we rescued from some people who weren't feeding the poor thing.

And then Guapo. Our accidentally rescued little goat he wasn't getting fed either, or wormed, and was severely anemic. My friend on BYC helped me get him all fixed up and now he is a wild man!

Two of my dogs and one of my cats were abandoned here. The two dogs are brother and sister, and they are now ten months old. We've had some other rescue animals...dogs and cats and a burrowing owl. But these are the only ones that are alive.

Well...Crouton is a lab/coonhound he was at a high kill shelter in sw MO, got picked up by a rescue who labeled him as severely dog aggressive, so he came to the rescue I work with and he is a perfect angel. He's protective of his people and property, but not an "aggressive" bone in his body.

Ducky, my little pibble was a backyard breeder pup I rescued- really bad genetics. We've had to work with her a lot but she's a sweetie. And A tripod!

Pops is an ancient chihuahua. He was on the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in Tennessee- he bit someone and got taken in. A rescue friend of mine picked him up, asked if I would foster him, and he never left hahaha. He's not mean, just timid, and if he doesn't know you and you try to pick him up he will nip you... I think that's fair

My other dog is a pyr/Anatolian but he wasn't a rescue!


I also usually have one or two rescue dogs that I'm working with to get them ready for adoption. I'll have to find pics of the guy I have now and post them

This is the guy I'm working with right now, Trooper! (Pic is from an adoption event). Super guy, really high energy and high prey drive. Has resource guarding issues with other animals and some people- he was guardy with me at first but after some work he's not anymore. He's off Leash trained, and has a great recall, but I can't trust him with my chickens or goats so I've gotta take him waaaaaaaay over to the edge of our property to run him around haha.
