Rescued baby duck

We rescued a baby mallard duck who was alone on the lake we live on.
We had a small aquarium that we kept him in last night and kept him warm but we aren’t sure what kind of place he should be in to stay safe during the day for the moment.
any recommendations?
He was swimming on a large lake with his family before he was lost from them.
