I had to rescue a chick that pipped but through a blood vessel. After full day of work, she is finally out.
She seems weak and her lower belly is still round, yet to be absorbed yolk I guess.

Its already been 36 hours since she pipped.

Should I make her drink some water ?
Should wait for the belly to disappear and become normal before I make her drink anything ?

Why do you want to make her drink? Can she not walk? If she's able to move around then I would just give her a waterer and let her determine when to drink.

She is weak and was alone in the incubator with no water bowl in the incubator.
Since my post, it seem to have improved and I moved her in with rest of the chicks.
She is keeping herself busy with all the entertainment around and getting some exercise
by moving around. Hope she recovers ok.

Definitely make sure she gets electrolytes. She will be weak, because she was working for so long. I had a chick take 24 hours to hatch and I ended up having to help him. He had taken so long that the membrane from the egg had dried to him and he was stuck. He was weak as well, but after a nap and some food/water, he is now the cockiest rooster I have. If she's having trouble getting around because she is too weak, then I would dropper "feed" her some electrolyte water. If she seems interested in the other chicks, and is moving around, then she should be fine.

I heard a little sugar water gives a good boost. Good luck with your chick. Hope she's going to be o.k.
