Yes :he and they said their traps were still empty after about 3 weeks. And so are my electric traps, they also implied my animals are just jumpy and that when i caught the one juvenile rat i must have scared the others off. Oh and that im doing way more then they would even to try to get rid of them. Like having foam in every crack and openong i feel air ckming through. Oh and that the dead animal smell i keep smelling by my counter, in bathroom, is probably coming fro. The exposed pipe in the bathroom. :barnieand when i sent her these pictures after she left.

I am not imagining this stuff! Speedy pecks me i look and something falls over but nothing is there when we get to the spot. And absolute NONE of my animals can get to the microwave. Speedy is the only one with slight possibility and she woukd have eaten that stuff not trailed it there! :he:mad:
 
That's what my step brother-in-law says too! That it is definantly a rodent trail. Even if speedy did get to the microwave the amount that it is moved is only big enough for her head and shes not strong enough with her head to move it! Sorry, I'm a lot fustrated with this. I almost feel as if im dealing with a ghost mouse/rat lol cause i was painting in bathroom and the corner trim that i set against the wall hours before, moved and fell - then as i was looking at that the tube of tub caulking <that you have to use a gun for> went from straight up to tipped slightly and i could see a shadow.... but when i investigated, nothing! The cats came in, smelt something and left. I think it may be using their damn black box snaptrap hider as a hiding place, going in but not after bait.
Step brother-in-law thinks the cats being scared is weird too and that it must be a huge rat.
My place is only 480sq ft... if its that darn big, how the heck is it getting around! lol
 
So, lady came last wednesday and took their boxes and left. They won't be back cause they don't think there is anything here... and i found smaller droppings last night in the spare room again. Bought another bait trap, going to set it up today.

In other news, speedy and fancy have a new loft. This one is sturdier and safer so that IF they get on the rails to perch, its not smooth and slippy, its square and has texture and the sides are built in so less likely that fancy will fall or something as i was constantly worrying about. I put 36" x 10' of hardware cloth over one end slightly and down the side and all the way across to the other end and over that side. I'll have pictures later after i finish taking the old one down.

Oh and mating has begun... :hitand now im more determined to get this stuff down... he tries on everything and sometimes grabs her eyelid and pulls and sometimes pushes her head down to on the edge of a board i have on the old.loft or the one used for the cat tree... ugh. Im trying not to interfere but im afraid he'll maim her while not in water. Though i dont think she'd let him there either cause she's still kinda afraid.of the water at times.
 
Yeah, I'm trying really hard too. Cause he gets really mad and wide eyed and huffing and puffing at the top of his lungs at me. I eventually calm him down and he becomes my loving, worrywart fancy again... but man, he bites hard and i know its not even his hardest cause hes not breaking skin, just bruises like punishment
