Rescued Duckling... newbie

I think he gets confused sometimes and not sure if im another drake or momma. Specially when he wants to jump speedy for the third time in a row and she shoves off and comes running to me. He gets all huffy and yelly like at both of us.

Don’t feel bad about taking the eggs. They probably don’t even remember you doing it 1 minute after it’s gone. I take mine when they are let out in the morning so they don’t even see me doing it.

That's what i started doing cause i waited til she had a few. I take 1 or 2 a day and now she's down to 4 in the nest, I'll get more tonight. - we were up to 13.... in 11 days.

I did try one today as soft boiled, and it worked well. That's kinda what i was worried, cause i really only like my breakfast eggs soft boiled or over med. Scrambled... while i will eat them, i don't like cooking them that much cause of smell sometimes for some reason turns my stomach. But if i get past that, I'll eat it lol. I love eggs, just something sets me off when scrambled ones are cooking.

I think egg salad is a sometimes thing for me. But now you gave me an idea for a way to get my family members to try it - it's hilarious, my dad taught us to try everything at least once, and then again made a different way, if we didn't like it. So, when my mom, and sisters tell me they don't want to try it, I arch an eyebrow at them. Especially at the one that eats baby octopuses and squid!

That's actually what i did when i soft boiled. 2 chicken eggs and 1 duck... so i could tell the difference or not, there was a slight difference in the yolks, ducks being more yolky flavor, which i don't mind since i like the yolks more than the whites - most ppl don't apparently.
