Rescued from a cat! What am I?

Wow, no wonder the cat was interested in that thing.
Just kidding and

How many toes does the little bugger have ? If you have a 4 toed chick, it is more than likely a frizzle. If you have a 5 toed chick it is more than likely a sizzle. A sizzle is a silkie that has the frizzle gene, I do believe. You may have some silkie mix though.

Seeing as it is a sizzle & a nice one too-you should be able to find the owner if you desire as very few people breed them especially that nicely. Looks like one from JimnJays (knights chickens) breeding. It looks like a young hen.
P.S. I would give my soul for one of those so the next time you pass through the holy land, please sneak in your pet "mini Schnauzer" for me

One of my sisters friend was driving and saw a cat hauling it down the road and stopped and grabbed it. Gave it to my sister to watch after and find it a home. So now I have it. It has four toes. It is really soft and makes a cricket noise(trill) when you hold her. The wife loves it. It is missing its comb and most of the neck feathers. Otherwise, healthy.

!

You definitely have a Sizzle there. As for the sex, it's sort of hard to tell at that angle. Could you describe its usual behaviors (like how it acts around the other chickens)? Those *might* be a clue as to what gender it is.

I agree, sizzle. Not all sizzles have 5 toes though, since a cochin is used and they only have 4. Is there trauma to where the comb was? I just ask because if it has the silkie comb then it won't look like it has much of a comb to start with, so it may not be as damaged as you may think, especially if it's a girl
