Rescued rooster - what breed?

Some roosters were dumped after the 4h fair. One was adopted by our neighbor and after losing two to predators, we captured the last one and brought him home. Any idea what breed he is?

Looks like an Easter Egger. And it looks like his beard has been plucked.

I would say EE or Ameracauna. He is a beautiful bird!

It Doesnt Look Like An EE to me. Maybe some sort of Game mix? For One thing, its kind of fishy it has no Green or slate legs or no beard, which is something EE Generally have. He also looks to beefy to be an EE.

I agree. As long as they lay blueish/green/olive/and purple I think? eggs they're classified as an EE... However with roosters you can't tell. But I think this one here is still an EE Roo.

I still disagree that that is the case here though. The Chantecler idea sounds promising. Do you know what color legs they have?
