Rescued some more chicks/ducks.. now what are we? [pic heavy]

The brown ducks may be crested khaki campbells.

The chicks look kinda like one of my BSLs. Seems to a not too uncommon variation. At first I thought partridge rock but the legs are too dark, right?

i would say maybe RIR on the first chick because it's coloring looks like the RIR i just got, but looking at hte second one makes me wonder if they're both sexlinks and the blacker on is your female and the red one is your male?? or could be that he ordered an assorted pullets mix and you'll be lucky and it will be a rir pullet and a sexlink pullet???

good for you on the rescue... i know how you feel.. there's a feed store in vegas that is just absolutley disgusting the way they keep their birds... i don't know whether i want to take them all home to save them or be afraid to bring home something from there in fear for the life of my flock...

I don't think she's a RIR. Eddy is a brilliant orange color, like carrot-orange, on her face and down under her stomach. Also her feathers coming in are black with orange tips or half orange. Not red like a RIR.

The spotted duck we will never know about... He got nabbed by my dog in their morning stroll. She's on parole for a few days.
