If I can catch her there's an injured goose I am going to see about in the morning.

What diet are they generally fed - assuming a decent layer pellet would be a start? If I have to pen her up - what else makes a goose well and happy? I don't even know breed, probably canadian but you NEVER know what gets dumped some places. So we'll see. If she's canadian then I can get her into wildlife rescue from here.

My vets are push overs so getting her medical care won't be too big a thing. God bless them.

So any tips, ideas, prayers? All accepted. I figure there's an advantage doing this as a gimp, I'm already taking pain killers, if she beats me and bites me heck, I already have the pills.

Wish me luck.

I would think if she's wild she is ranging. She may not know what pells are!
Prob would prefer greens, and access to a big bowl of water. Good luck!
Try to keep it quiet around her/him. She must be traumatized.

Since she's been barely surviving near a Sam's Club parking lot, just getting to a farm will be a nice vacation.

Geese are vegetarians, and LOOOVE greens. Mine eat primarily grass all day but I have a bowl of chick starter mixed with COB they snack on whenever they sail by their food dish. Mine esp love collard greens, kale, spinach or green leaf lettuce. Their favorite food is plain grass.

UNdomestic waterfowl rarely eat anything BUT greens.

She'll thrive on greens alone, with maybe a little crushed grains for fattening her up.
