Resetting Unread Posts

When reading through a thread, if I post a reply and hit submit, it automatically takes me to the end of the thread and I no longer have any unread posts on that thread. This is a pain to keep track of when I'm on page 33 of 250, and it's not easy to get back to page 33 when I can't just click on the link and it takes me there automatically.

Is there a way to reset the unread post counter? Is there a way to keep the unread post count where it is when I post?

Good question! Our system keeps track of unread on a page by page basis, that is until you fast forward to other pages and/or reply. This is actually programmed to do this since any other way would cause even more confusion and problems.

The best thing to do is to use the "multi" option as you are reading and then when you are all caught up you can click reply. Then all the posts you wanted to reply to are right there all together.
