I wanted to share my coop for those in case they choose to make one for themselves. I know when I was looking to get one I couldn’t find many. I am putting a side window in and replacing the windows with hardware cloth as it gets warmer. I am also going to get more ventilation added. I also clean the coop in general every week and might convert to using sand instead of shavings but for now it is shavings.

Welcome to BYC!

When you get it finished be sure to write up a Coop Page article showing the details of how you did things. :)

With the rising cost of lumber these conversions on plastic/resin and/or metal sheds will look more and more attractive so people will want to know how.
Will do! It needs another vent I was going to add a side window but changed my mind. I’m also removing windows with hardware cloth for the summer.
