Hi there! Thank you in advance for any help that is given!
So on Monday the 14th I purchased a Cream Legbar pullet & 2 EE pullets from a breeder. I've had the 3 new pullets quarantined from the rest of my flock, and just yesterday noticed that the Cream Legbar had a lot of sneezing, as well as clear nasal discharge and gurgling in her chest. I separated her from the EE pullets, who will stay in quarantine for a few more weeks provided they stay healthy, and have her in her own coop (thank goodness we have 3 full coops laying around!) with food, water, a run, etc.
Now here's my dilemma - her nasal discharge has changed from clear, saliva-like fluid to blood. It's crusted over on her nose, and I've cleaned it off multiple times to ensure it wasn't a fluke. I'm not familiar with this symptom in regards to respiratory diseases/infections, so if anybody could enlighten me as to what causes the bleeding and/or what disease/infection it might indicate, I would be so incredibly appreciative!

Also, I started Tylan 50 injections today. I had been planning on it before I saw that the discharge had turned to blood, and I'm now unsure if Tylan 50 is the right course of treatment? I still gave her the injection today, mostly because I'd rather be safe than sorry, but please feel free to let me know if y'all have any better course of treatment in mind, given the symptoms!

Oh dear, that sounds very bad. I'm sorry you have to go through this!!! Do you have any mouse poison around? that causes probs like that and bleeding when ingested.

Hmmm, no mouse or rat poison around. The coop that they were living in for the past few days had been cleaned, with fresh shavings & dirt in the run. Thanks for the idea, though!

How are her eyes?

Her eyes are clear, without any discharge or bubbling, which seems odd to me. She's sleeping a good deal lately, but when she's awake she's alert and very responsive. But boy do I hope it's not Infectious Laryngotracheitis! I'm also curious as to whether the two EEs have had this previously, or will have already contracted it from the few days they spent with the Cream Legbar :(
