3 week old chick clearly not doing well. Nothing in her throat. Eating just a little, not drinking unless I put her break in water. I'm in California so resources are limited. I have LA 200, vet rx, nutridrench.

Videos must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with a link posted here to see it. Where did the chick come from? Can you get it drinking some fluids? What is the temperature in your brooder?

Ok, I'll try to upload the video to YouTube. In the meantime, here's background: The chick is from a local feed store. I'm not sure what hatchery they use. Brooder temp ranges from 90-80. She prefers the warmer side. She is eating minimally and not drinking on her own. I'm giving her syringes of sugar water and egg yolk. Her poop is fairly liquidy with a lot of white and some solid brownish. She is extending her neck and gasping and occasionally squeaks like a smoke detector with a low battery. She has one broodermate and he is doing well and thriving.

I'm thinking Aspergillus?

Has there been a lot of wet bedding that has caused mold? There is no treatment for aspergillosis, just to remove any moldy conditions. Is she pooping normally? Does she seem to have a hard crop?

Aspergillosis is from mold, so probably not the issue. So just make sure that she has good air circulation in the brooder. How does her crop in her right upper chest feel? Does she have anything stuck in her throat or crop? I hope that she makes it.
