Respiratory Infection: Help

I just answered on your other thread. Most respiratory diseases are contagious and can make carriers of the flock. Many advocate culling of birds with things like MG, coryza, and ILT. It's hard to know which one you have without testing or having a necropsy performed. Many use antibiotics like Tylan 50 or tetracycline, but even with treatment the chicken may get symptoms again, plus be a carrier, so the others in the flock exposed will also become carriers even if they don't appear sick.
