I've had a hen that from day one has had a gurgly sound to her. Since she grew well, ate well, acted fine and showed no other signs of illness, I didn't think too much of it. Yesterday I noticed she had a bubbly eye so I separated her from everyone else. I figured I'd see how she was today before medicating. This evening she was gasping for air in a similar way that chickens w/gape worm will do only this had the gurgly sound too. Shortly after I found her making these noises, she died.

Does anyone have any idea what could have been wrong w/her?

Did she have any discharge from her eyes or nose? Other than the bubbly eye. Bubbly eyes are usually a sign of CRD or a type of respiratory issue. They contract MG through wild birds and CRD is a symptom of MG. Meaning they have Chronic Respiratory Disease. I think the symptoms of CRD usually show up when the bird is stressed.
