I agree entirely with casportpony.
However, treating for mold is easy. Get a gallon of water, throw in two packets of cool aid and a quarter cup of salt. Spray everything. The combination of citric acid and salt is great at controlling mold. The cool aid color lets me see where I've sprayed. Ok, really it's because it's cheaper than buying actual citric acid.

Mold is all over the yard and everywhere else where there is shade. The poultry sheds are taken care, but the mold reappears soon. I will try your treatment.

MICHIGAN- until last year we lived in Wisconsin and never had much problem with the poultry. Tennessee is way different and we have a lot to learn.

Nchls... I'm in Memphis...my birds don't seem to experience what your going through. They are certainly miserable in this heat & humidity.

Thank you for the reply. I'm wondering if others in the area are experiencing same/similar problems with the heat and humidity. I candled a turkey nest yesterday that was wet from a storm when I was away from home. 18 eggs-all developed-10 dead in the shell-leaving 8 to possibly hatch.
