Respiratory problems

I purchased 13 5 month old pullets on Saturday and noticed some were being very lethargic and one or two were sneezing, well as of yesterday I've got 9 quarantined and giving them Tylan 50 shots and putting vitamins and electrolytes in their water as well as some ACV. Some have gunk in their eyes and are qurgiling while breathing and just sitting down and closing eyes. Is there anything else I can do, once is not going to make it much longer

Any chance of returning them? This could be a chronic respiratory disease and you may be dealing with relapses eventually.

Mycoplasma gallisepticum is very common, although I don't know what the diagnosis is. You can also look up chronic respiratory disease (CRD) on byc.

There is a blood test at the vet for MG I believe. There are other diseases it could be, and a lot of people simply put down sick chickens. If it is MG this will be contagious to your other ones.

The Tylan should help. Try also Baytril I find it stronger than Tylan

It's a shame that someone sold you birds who probably have a chronic respiratory disease, such as MG, coryza, ILT, or others. If you can't return them to the seller, then I would probably cull the birds, burn or bury them very deeply, clean and start over in a few weeks. I hope that doesn't sound mean, but if these are your first birds, they will probably continue to get sick, and become lifelong carriers to their offspring or any new birds that you bring home. You can send the sickest one in to the state vet for a necropsy to get it tested, but it won't cure the others. Here is some reading about MG and other diseases, and a link for your state vet:
