I am so sorry for your loss.
She was a pretty hen.

Thank you all, I feel much better now.

So was it internal prolapse? there was a little blood around the vent but her organs were tangled.
When I put them in she was sitting on her perch fine and clucking.
In the morning though she was very cold and stiff and had been dead a very long time
it's my fault I should have noticed something or come out earlier!
