Result of breeding two 6-toed silkies?

I recently ended up with two 6-toed silkies (same number of digits on each foot). They're only 1 week old now but I was wondering if there would be any adverse effects if they bred with each other?

Shouldn't be any adverse effects, on the flip side you might be able to make some six toed silkies.

That's what I was thinking. I tried doing some research on it, did see a few people saying to avoid breeding two 6-toes together but never giving a reason why

Looks like my group of silkies chicks has contracted fowl pox (too young to vaccinate). Hopefully no losses in this group

I do look forward to giving updates on the 12-toed babies as they age

The group consists of:
• 2 white silkies
• 1 black silkie
• 1 black w/ chocolate highlights (self hatched)
• 4 red/partridge silkies
• 1 gray silkie
And of course the Honorable Mention:
• 1 old english game bantam

The 6-toed silkies turned 1 month old recently, here's the white one who a friend has dubbed "MegaToe"

6 toes bred together is no different then breeding 5 toes.

Breeding them would just give you both 6 toed, & 5 toed chicks.

Eh, I suppose originally I was curious if 2 six-toed parents would encourage more toe mutations and if that might have drawbacks. Doesn't really matter anymore, my friend has the black six-toe now. Needed more color variety in the silkie pen.
